Stand was the first track I was on, for the television show Smash. We did the session at the famous Avatar Studios. Joseph Joubert was the music director and the great Broadway Inspirational Voices recorded the choir parts. So many extremely talented artists were on that session. And what a fun and professional group. The album sales on this hit Billboard’s Top Ten. On the video, you’ll see Joseph on the piano. I recorded the bass in the studio, but George Farmer is on the video.
